One Of The Most Admirable Institute, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology is know as to produce technical engineers and Very talented employee for Underemployment (due to lack of skill) .but from the very past time, MANIT also producing alcoholic generation. I think To promote alcoholic and Antisocial element In MANIT, collage authorities gives To much space to their students. There are Lotus Lake and Three big grounds (about 500 acre) and there are no colony, no lights and no active guards (on duty) to disturb their alcoholic and lust full, drug addict students. they all come after 8 PM. And after this time, if they find someone else out here (Junior or outsider of campus) they tried to bullying them, beating them. There are lot's of Incidents have been taken place out here But authority never Show any admirable step towards it. For me MANIT's Ground are Very Peaceful and natural place. But During the Late night many anti social elements and Misguided students come out here and take alcohol and even drugs also. You will also find condoms around Lake, because lot's of juniors (as a ragging) and GF, BF come around here in car in late night (around 12 PM). Many Junior called by their seniors for ragging at late night in these ground. There is a dilapidated Dressing room around cricket Ground and you can find many broken Injection which were used for drugs. The Strength of students and weak security also gives them good chance to do this. I hope that authority will provide light around these grounds or Ban to go out there after 8 PM. I am suggesting that they should take step before any big damage take place.
